How can I book a ticket?

If you have a credit card, we recommend that you book your tickets online. It is really easy. Tickets can be booked on our website with our online booking system which can be found at the top right hand corner of each page under the title "ONLINE BOOKING". Just enter the desired route and date, then follow the easy steps as indicated.

You are not committed to anything until your are asked to pay and insert your credit card details, after which the final "Confirm Secure Payment" button on the payment screen will appear and once pressed your booking confirmation will initiate.

To make a booking you will need to enter the following information:
Name, surname, age, date of birth, nationality and passport number for all passengers travelling (including infants), as well a contact email and telephone number.
 
Please be informed that it is important that the all details indicated above are inserted correctly into our booking system. Should any details submitted during booking not match the details on the document presented at time of check-in, Venezia Lines has the right not to accept the passenger on board and no refunds will be granted.
Passenger details required during booking are required as per COUNCIL DIRECTIVE 98/41/EC of 18 June 1998 [S.L.234.25].

It is also important to leave a mobile telephone number, or a land-line telephone number which can be reached by someone at any time. This is neccesary for us in case of cancellation or re-routing of a trip. A Venezia Lines customer care agent will be able to contact you in order to give you the adequate information. Venezia Lines will not be held responsible for not communicating information to a customer if the contact numbers or emails provided are not reachable.

You can also make a booking through your nearest travel agency.

Finally, if you prefer not to book in advance you can book your tickets at the port just before departure. We do remind you that availability is not guaranteed for purchases made in port especially during the months of July, August and September, and we do advise all our passengers to book in advance.

How can I pay? 

Ticket is always charged in Euros notwithstanding your country of origin.

Payment can be made online using the following credit cards. On your credit card statement, the charge will be shown as "Venezia Lines Limited"

You can pay in cash in all our ports. We only accept credit card in Venice San Basilio port.

Venezia Lines also accept payment by bank transfer for payments of €500 or over. All Charged for bank transfer payments have to be paid by yourelf. Bank transfer bookinmgs will only be accepted if made at least 15 days before departure. Upon payment and copy of the bank transfer must be sent to us by email or fax. All funds have to be in our account at least 7 days before the departure date. If we do not receive your payment as stipulated above your booking will be automatically cancelled and availability will no longer be guaranteed.

Why was my credit card declined?

In most cases this is caused by inserting the wrong number, expiry date or CCV number. Please make sure that you check all of your details carefully. Venezia Lines uses a secure authorisation process to check credit cards.

If you are sure you entered all your details correctly and you have enough funds in your card, we recommend contacting your card issuer or using another card.

How do I get my booking confirmed?

Once you have completed your booking, an automatic email confirmation will be sent to you with th breakdown of the payment information. You will also receive passenger tickets for each passenger in the travelling party These will contain all relevant travel information and conditions relating to your booking. On your departure date, please present your passport and the passenger ticket that you received by email to our check- in staff. Failure to do so may result in your boarding being denied and no refunds will be granted.
